Business Improvement Workshop

Find the real challenge

A focused workshop to unpack a business challenge, uncover blind spots and identify practical priorities for what comes next.

What it is

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but the real problem is not yet clear.

The Business Improvement Workshop helps you step back and look at the challenge from a broader perspective.

We start with people and their experience. We explore what you are trying to achieve, how things work today, where people experience friction or barriers, and what may be getting in the way.

Throughout the discussion, we consider experience, inclusion, usability and accessibility, alongside process and technology.

The aim is not to produce a detailed strategy. It is to understand the challenge well enough to make a better decision about what comes next.

Why it matters

Business challenges are often described through symptoms rather than their underlying causes. Looking at the experience, process and technology together can reveal where improvement will make the greatest difference.

  • Clarify the real challenge: Separate underlying issues from the symptoms people have become used to working around.

  • Find everyday friction: Identify unnecessary effort, barriers, duplication and confusing ways of working.

  • Bring different perspectives together: Create a shared view of the challenge across the people involved in or affected by it.

  • Focus the next step: Identify practical improvement priorities before committing to a larger change initiative.

What you'll achieve

You get greater clarity, a people-first perspective, more inclusive thinking, clearer priorities and a practical next step.
