Hello

I’m David Langdon, founder of BlindSpot Solutions. I help organisations create workplaces that are genuinely accessible for everyone. My work brings together lived experience and professional expertise to address accessibility across physical spaces, digital systems, everyday processes, and workplace culture.

Through practical advice, tailored workshops, accessibility awareness programs, reviews, and ongoing support, I help teams understand barriers, reduce friction, and build environments where people can participate, contribute, and thrive.

The Founder's Story

My career began in large professional services firms, working with people, processes, and systems. That early experience gave me a front-row seat to how workplaces function in the real world, and how even small barriers can shape someone’s ability to participate fully.

Soon after, I moved into the legal sector, a space I knew well through my father’s sole-practice background. While I never planned to become a lawyer, I was drawn to the complexities of legal workplaces and the way technology, process, and culture intersect. In the late 1990s I moved to London and took on responsibility for a law firm’s CRM system. That work opened the door to broader roles across marketing, operations, and technology, eventually leading me to Elite, a global legal tech provider.

A move to Brisbane in 2004 marked the start of two decades working with firms around the world. I supported teams across the UK, Europe, South Africa, India, Asia, the USA, and Australia, helping them navigate change, adopt new systems, and improve the way they worked. That journey gave me a deep understanding of how people experience their workplace: the workflows, the expectations, the pressures, and, importantly, the barriers that often go unseen.

Over time, it became clear that accessibility was the missing piece in many organisations. I saw how physical design, digital systems, communication habits, and everyday processes could unintentionally exclude people, including me. My lived experience, combined with years of working inside complex environments, shaped the direction of my work today.

I now focus entirely on accessibility. I help organisations recognise the barriers within their workplaces, understand how these barriers affect real people, and build practical, inclusive solutions that improve everyday experiences for staff, clients, and customers. My goal is simple: workplaces where everyone can participate, contribute, and feel supported.
